Ready to Play 360 on your Mac?

Dec 10, 2009

Apogee, a California-based electronics company, has just announced that they are in the process of producing a unique, new device that will act as an HDMI adapter for Macs. Trust us – we’ve all been waiting for it.

According to the official release, this Kanex-branded HDMI to Mini DisplayPort unit should allow any HDMI-enabled device to work with items like the new 27-inch iMac, game consoles like the PS3 and Xbox 360, and other electronics like Blu-ray players. No official pricing or release date have been announced.

So what does this all mean? Well, it means that you can finally (maybe) play your Xbox 360 on your Mac while taking advantage of all of the awesome Apple features and built-in displays in a completely new way. We’ll keep you posted on more info on this as it becomes available.
